Another win for Western Union

Paced with uncanny forward Bong Alambra and power forward Jun Bautista, WU were able to stop the relentless team of Ilonggo Slashers. A game that ended with a score of 101 – 92, WU escaped a late run from the Slashers who were able to slice their lead in a very manageable distance. However, with the two stellar players of the Union putting their hands together with guards Clemenia and Tecson, they then put a halt on the surge by their opponent to seal the victory.

As for other games that Sunday afternoon, PRA – Choppers fell short to team HANPA – Cardinals who outplayed and outwitted the latter with their feisty defense and accurate team offence that ended with a tally of 93 – 79.
