In the opening 10 minute of the game Armatech did not let Marianas Resort score more than 8 points. The first 6 points for that team were fired by 2 three pointer shots from Arnold Crisostomo. Yosh Gabaldon returned that challenge with his three point shots bucketing 6 points right away with this first 2 shots alone; working side by side with teammate White Capalad who bucketed 8 points and Bruce Berlin who contributed 6 points. Gabaldon, Capalad, and Berlin grabbed hold of an early 20 point lead over Marianas Resort at the bottom of the first quarter.
For the next round, Rico Delos Reyes scored 9 points for Marianas Resort working side by side with teammate Arnold Crisostomo who bucketed 8 points in their heroic attempt to close the 20 point gap between them and Armatech. On the other hand, Armatech’s Sam Fernandez contributed 6 points of his own while his teammates Budz Camacho and Bruce Berlin worked together scoring 4 points a piece to keep a wide 17 point gap between them and Marianas Resort by half time.
Again Arnold Crisostomo shows his basketball talent by scoring 3 three pointers to obtain 9 points to help out Marianas Resort get back on its feet. Teammate Nathan Kapeleo helped Crisostomo out with his efforst by contributing 6 points to the team. But Armatech’s offense proved too tough to handle for White Capalad scored 8 points all by himself. Brandon Talania scored 6 points to help him keep the gap working hand in hand with teammate Budz Camacho who contributed 4 points to keep a 25 point gap.
In the last ten minutes of the game, fatigue got the better part of team Marianas Resort because they did not have that much players. Armatech took sole advantage of this. White Capalad scored 6 points against Marianas Resort’s tired defense. Bruce Berlin and Brandon Talania also managed to score 4 points a piece past the other team to dominate by 30 points, 80-50.

In the last game of the caging for last Sunday, MBI Right Guard trumped Wings Travel by 10 points, 114-94.
In the first quarter of the game, Right Guard’s Ivan De Vero scored 10 points all by himself working side by side with teammates George Barbo and Pete Iguel who scored 6 points a piece. Wings Travel fought back with Ron Gamboa challenging De Vero’s 10 points with 10 points of his own working with teammate James Camacho who bucketed 6 points. Unfortunately for Wings Travel, this was not enough and Right Guards were able to steal a 3 point lead over them at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter Pete Iguel scored 13 points of his own playing side by side with teammate George Barbo who contributed 9 points of his own for team Right Guard. James Camacho scored 8 points while teammate Zach Diaz contributed 6 points for team Wings travel in their hopes to catch the gap. But this was not enough as Right Guard took a 12 point lead over them by half time.
In the third quarter, Ed Yalong of Wings Travel was the only who was able to slip past Right guard’s defense and bucket 10 points for his team. Almost no one else got through. Right Guard’s Ivan De Vero scored 12 points playing fiercely with teammates Francis Rebuyon who bucketed 9 points, George Barbo, and Pando Muleta who contributed 7 points a piece. Right Guard took a 29 point lead over Wings Travel by the end of the third quarter.
In the last ten minutes of the game, James Camacho scored 9 points for Wings Travel playing side by side with teammates Ed Yalong and Ron Gamboa who each score 6 points. Unfortunately that was not enough for Right Guard’s Pete Iguel scored 10 points playing with teammates Art Trajano and Arjess Corderro who bucketed 6 points a piece to dominate over Wings Travel by 10 points.
