Autonomous and Aguaguat came out tied in the 1st quarter, 20-20, but Autonomous pulled away from Aguaguat with a lopsided score in the two succeeding quarters.
Bobby Coldeen of Autonomous fired 23 shots, while teammates, Ponce Rasa and Steve Rasa, backed him up with 18 points each.
Tim Wesley contributed 15 points to Autonomous, with him sealing the game with a last basket attempt in the final minutes.
Rasa committed a technical foul during the 1st quarter, but this did not prevent him from scattering medium-range shots and lay-ups.
Other Autonomous players who scored on the board were Everly and Jun Aaron.
The three-point attempts of Aguaguat’s Mike Guerrero and Ryan Sablan did not prove too strong for the four top scorers of Autonomous.
Guerrero was the last to score for his team. No teammates were able to follow through to get Aguaguat away from the losing end.
Aguaguat’s Jason Sablan and John Paul Sablan were the other players who made baskets, 16 points each for the team.
Autonomous now shares the 3rd rank with Department of Commerce in the team standings.
