Filled with baseball fanatics, Asahi Baseball Field was thrilled to have witnessed a match between the locals and the visiting team in which Team Palau Baseball went strong at bat. Team Palau developed a commanding lead all throughout their first meeting with the Korean Baseball team by scoring 27 – 1 to win. Then on the second day of the match, Palau did not skipped a beat when they continued on their winning percentage by drubbing the visiting team anew with a score of 30 – 5 to claim the series 2 wins and no loss.
The Korean Baseball Association was headed by Sung Ki Young – First Vice Presidnet, Kim Jong Up – Vice President, Cho Cheol Hee – President of the Guangjin – gu Baseball Federation, Kim Kwang Bok – Secretary General of KFBA, Kim Moo Hyun – President of Gyunggi – do Baseball Federation, Sung Yun Soo – President of the Singpa – gu Baseball Federation, and Coach Lee Seok.
