“Our company is a strong supporter of the NMC Foundation’s efforts,” said BOH Senior Vice-President John Sheather. “The staff and management of Bank of Hawaii are happy to be a part the upcoming golf tournament.”
The prize sponsorship was presented in support of the upcoming 8th Annual Golf Foundation Open golf tournament, which is organized by the NMC Foundation. The tournament, the organization’s signature event, aims to raise critical funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.
“We would like to thank Bank of Hawaii for its sponsorship,” said Ben Babauta, president of the NMC Foundation. “The company’s participation in this golf tournament will help the NMC Foundation’s efforts in raising funds for higher education.”
The NMC Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise funds to support the Northern Marianas College, the CNMI’s lone post-secondary educational institution. The organization is composed of individuals who are dedicated and committed to ensuring that CNMI students receive the utmost support in pursuing their educational goals.

Saipan Lao Lao Bay Golf & Resort will play host to the 8th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament, scheduled for Saturday, April 24. Show time is 6 a.m. and shotgun start is 7 a.m. Registration fee is $95.
