Belau Softball Association volunteers at Dandan

Players and officials from the BSA joined forces to rake and trim the school’s grass fields, sweep the walkways, and repaint the curbs by the entrance.

Their labor was all voluntary with the exception of the paint and equipment, which was provided by the school. All volunteers started their work in the morning, and continued through noon.

“I want the students to come in tomorrow and see the new painting on the parking lot, and trimming of the flowers, and everything. You know, just make them happy when they return to school,” said BSA President Bryan Adelbai.

Aside from Dandan Elem. School’s campus, the BSA also volunteered to paint the dug-outs and cut the grass at Dandan Softball Field, which they use for their annual leagues. Both the field and the school are located next to each other, making the organization’s work much easier.
