Noni demolished NMBA-Mix Blood, 114-64, in the second game of the UFO opener, with the former outrebounding the latter 34-19 on the boards.
Noni outscored Mix Blood 33-4 in the first quarter with Mix Blood putting points on the board courtesy of Jeff Pagarao’s two jumpers.
Mix Blood picked it up in the second quarter and outscored Noni 20-18 in the quarter, but still trailed 51-24 heading into halftime.
Noni came out guns blazing after intermission behind a strong quarter from Lerio Pagarao, who scored 9 points in the third, and increased their lead over Mix Blood, 81-38, heading into the final quarter.
Noni did not stop the demolition as they posted another 33 points in the fourth quarter, ultimately sealing the fate of Mix Blood, which scored 26 in the last 10 minutes of play.
Noni had a strong team effort with 5 players scoring in double figures, while Lerio Pagarao led the way scoring 28 points and dishing out 7 assists in his team’s winning effort.
Mix Blood’s Jeff Pagarao also scored 28 points and Dennis Morales chipped in 20, but they didn’t receive much help from their teammates as they lost by 50 points.

Hoops 75, Blue Haus 53
In the third game of the UFO opener, the Hoops crushed MDX-Blue Haus, 75-53.
Both teams kept it close as they ended the first quarter 19-15, in favor of the Hoops.
The Hoops extended their lead to 14 with an offensive barrage led by Dave Sablan’s 8-point second quarter ending the half up 38-24.
Blue Haus cut the lead to 11 in the third quarter with their full court pressure, but in the final quarter, the Hoops pulled away as Sablan and Kelvin Fitial led another offensive explosion with a combined 18 points of the team’s 27 in the fourth to seal the victory.
The Hoops’ Dave Sablan scored a game-high 20 points and 5 steals, which was complemented by Kelvin Fitial’s double-double, 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Zachary Babauta led Blue Haus’ losing effort with 17 points and 4 steals.
