Aquilla Masami top scored with 22 points, while veteran national player, Jamie Ngirausui provided the leadership and control for Team Bring It On that caused the defeat and the hopes of team Odesangel’s chances on getting to this year’s final with a final score of 82 – 56. On the other hand, Team Spartans needed the prolific shooting of two national players, Jesslyn De Leon, who put up 14 point production while Rosang Kelulau dropped 12 for Team Spartans in thumping the 5th seed Team Mizhtang. Despite a spectacular 20 point game from Mizthang player Charmain, it was not enough to lift up her team as the ladies from Sparta dominated the match that ended with a tally of 57 – 45.
As a result both teams victory, Team Spartans will face Team Money while Team Bring It On is matched up with Team Sam’s Kryptonite. With the continuation of the WNBL playoffs, winners of the match will fight for the prestigious trophy while losers play the consolation.
