BANMI board member, Abner Venus who estimated that the ongoing IT&E Inter-government & Business Basketball League and the Saipan Rotary Club Youth Basketball League will be done by the end of October, said that they plan to further help the youth bring out their talents by having another league right away.

The annual Budweiser league, Venus said was participated by less than 10 teams last year. They hope that this year, more teams will sign up for the games.
