There will never be a dull year for the NMI’s Masters Basketball so the Masters Basketball Federation of Northern Mariana Islands wants to make sure its first year will be filled with actions, board chairman Ray Lizama indicated in the calendar of events for 2010.
After the three-day Liberation Day Tournament that kicks off today at Gilbert C. Ada Gym, the Masters Basketball Federation will also host Summer Blast Three-on-Three Fundraiser Tournament for four divisions—35A, 40A, 45A and 50A.
This will be followed by the Freemansory Inter-color Basketball League on July 11, which the Masters Federation is working with the Emon Lodge 179.
In August, the Masters Basketball League will hold its 40-and-above league that is expected to run in two months. On September, there will be a Labor Day Tournament and on November, a Three-on-Three Thanksgiving Day Tournament.
The Masters Basketball will also end 2010 with another Three-on-Three Christmas Day Fundraiser Tournament.
