Cabrera secured the early lead by scoring a run and handed Dragons the victory by hitting a go-ahead single in the third inning for his third RBI of the game.
In a losing attempt, Red Sox’ Jequinn Aguon, the smallest boy in the team made it to the first base, moved on the second base from Alex Monkeya’s single hit and scored Red Sox’ only run from Monkeya’s second single hit.
Dragons’ Cabrera however, threw deep from the mound holding Red Sox scoreless in five straight innings with his 14 strike outs. He finished the game with his two more strike outs in the final quarter.
Jets 10, Falcons 3
Joseph Lizama homered in the first inning and drove in two runs with his single hit in the third inning to help the Jets crush the Falcons, 10-3.
Kenji rocketed a run-scoring triple in the third inning.
Fielders 10, Lion King 4
In the Junior Division, Nokki Saralu tied the game in the top of the fifth inning by launching a double hit to send Nathan Guerrero home.
Lion’s Richard Dela Cruz was quick to respond with double hit but his attempt to get even was foiled by Fielders’ relentless defense.
Joe Basa mounted the winning rally firing two RBIs in the top of the sixth with his single hit.
This prompted the Lions coaching team to replace Dominic Chargaulaf in the mound putting in Alfred Hocog to pitch the remaining innings.
Fielders however did not look back as they continue to score more runs.
