(HANMI) — Island Training Solution is stepping up to the tee with cash and gas for the 22nd Annual HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament on Aug. 24, 2024, at Coral Ocean Resort.

ITS is offering a $5,000 hole-in-one prize on Hole #3, as well as $200 in gas coupons.

“The Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands represents the largest set of private resident/local employers, providing numerous job and career opportunities to our CNMI residents.   That fits right in line with Island Training Solutions’ mission of developing and credentialing our island residents for the workforce,” said ITS owner Jim Arenovski.  “They are a huge supporter of our shadowing and internship programs. We support HAMNI’s continuing efforts to raise the overall tourist experience, delivering great services and experiences at their respective properties with the intent of creating return visitors and positive word-of-mouth of the CNMI, no matter where those tourists come from.   We are proud to help support their fundraising efforts.”

Other hole-in-one prizes for the tournament include a 2024 Nissan Sentra from Joeten Motors, a 2024 Toyota Tacoma from Atkins Kroll Saipan, and $10,000 cash from Pacifica Insurance.

“Cash or gas, we’re definitely having some winners this month thanks to Island Training Solutions support,” said Tournament Committee Chairman Das Krishnan. “Hoping for an ‘ace’!”

Registration is $180 for non-CNMI residents and $130 for residents. Registration includes green fees and the awards dinner.  Optional play is $30 and includes Accurate Drive (Hole #9) and four chances for Nearest to the Pin (Holes #3, #7, #13, and #17). Showtime is 6 a.m., and the tournament will start at 7 a.m.

This year’s awards banquet will be held at the Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan Ataari cultural dinner show. The tournament is open to the first 144 paid registrants. The tournament follows a blackjack double Peoria format.
