RB Dorado ignited team Palau’s winning rally after knocking down 12 points during the first quarter while CNMI’s Christian Mizer was only able to drive for seven points, 20-14.
Palau’s Marvic Ngchar stepped it up a notch and shot from downtown thrice to collect 9 more points followed by a couple of jumpers from teammates Orion Anderson and RB Dorado leaving team CNMI behind capping the first half with a 45-32 lead.
Palau settled for 12 more points during the third kanto of the game adjusting the scores to 57-44. CJ Olkeriil’s six point contribution secured the win for team Palau. Ngchar sealed the game with a three pointer shot drawing first blood against team CNMI, 74-53.
