CNMI loses to American Samoa in consolation game

TEAM CNMI lost to American Samoa, 8-7, in the consolation game of the 2025 Little League Asia Pacific/Middle East Senior Regional Tournament at the Harmon Sports Complex Field on Guam on Saturday.

Both teams vied for the lead in every inning. In the final frame, the CNMI held a narrow 7-6 advantage, but a lapse in defensive awareness proved costly, allowing American Samoa to bring in two runners and steal an 8-7 victory.

On Wednesday, the CNMI trounced American Samoa, 15-4.

On Thursday, however, the CNMI lost to Guam, 18-3.

The CNMI also fell to the Philippines, 13-1, on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Guam beat the Philippines, 5-1, to claim the title and a spot in the 2025 Little League Senior World Series in Easley, South Carolina.
