Refaluwasch Golf Association President Jordan Kosam told Variety that they have scheduled a two-day try out to hopefully bring up five people who will form the CNMI team.
Kosam is calling on the CNMI golfers’ community or any golfers interested to attend the urgent meeting June 17, 6:30 p.m., at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym conference room.
“Our goal is to come up with a CNMI National Golf Team and coordinate the efforts to represent the great CNMI in the upcoming mini games,” Kosam said.
Time is of the essence, he added, as “it’s important that we meet and discuss urgent issues and focus our efforts getting the team to Rarotonga.”
Due to the short notice, Kosam said they have yet to discuss in next week’s meeting the venue of the try out.
