Marianas Variety learned yesterday that they committee under the parish have been fundraising to help with the church’s needs and recently the church needs to undergo immediate repair.
Marianas Variety was told yesterday that this kind of fundraiser is the second biggest one that they have launched to help the parish out.
The golf tournament will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort on the west course of the resort.
The registration fee is set at $100 for all those that are interested in paying golf or are interested on helping the church out. The registration payment includes playing on the green and the banquet that closes the tournament.
This will be a one day tournament full of fun under the sun.
As of yesterday there were already more than 50 tickets out there that are being sold for the tournament. All of the proceeds will benefit the Kristo Rai Parish. All of the money that will be fundraised for this will go to help repair the church and its immediate needs which include the CUC power bill, the paint, the maintenance of the church, and much more.
Anyone who is interested in paying at the door must go there early to register but tickets will be available on the day of the competition.
Everyone who is interested must be at least 18 years old in compliance to rules from the Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort. The check in on the day of the competition will be at 630 in the morning and the tee off time will be at 730 in the morning.
