DCCA routed Hopwood with relentless base hits finishing the game early with final score of 27-5 in 10-run rule.
The two teams are going opposite direction. It was DCCA’s 12th straight wins without loss, while Hopwood has not tasted victory yet.
DCCA’s short stopper, Craig Sanchez foiled Ronald Gabioza’s first base with an in-field fly, while Jonathan Tenorio and Ben Tababuel prevented Edi Cabrera from completing the second base stretch and James Fleming upset Tim Williams in the first inning.
Tenorio foiled Jun Salavaria’s ground hit, Mel Sakisat struck out Jun Alomi holding Hopwood scoreless in the second inning.
Joey Dela Cruz hit a grand slam while Pete Tomokane homered in the first inning for an early lead.

Mayor’s Office showed sign they are still alive by pounding Commonwealth Health Center, 16-7 in the third game.
Donald Manalo rocketed a grand slam hit in the fifth inning but even before that, he and his team mates had been exploding with base hits in the first inning for an early lead.
Mayor’s Office pitcher, John Guerrero defeated Dennis Renguul and Tom Ito to keep CHC scoreless in the first inning.
He struck out Ito in the third, and of the 20 hits he gave up, only seven runs went counted.
In the second game, Department of Lands and Natural Resources won against Law and Order by forfeited game.
