Eunae Jang
EUNAE Jang earned her first win in the 2024 season of the CNMI Women’s Golf Association by topping its February tournament at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort east course on Saturday.
Consistency was Jang’s strength as she maintained a steady swing throughout the course.
She struggled on the front nine, but with good placements and a soft touch on the green, scored a gross of 47. She then tweaked her swing on the back nine to earn a gross score of 46 and a total gross score of 93. With a handicap of 19, her net score was 74.
In second place was Hyun Son, who shot a gross of 42 on the front nine and 43 on the back nine for an accumulated gross score of 85. Her handicap of 10 gave her a net score of 75.
Coming in third was Saehee Kim, who shot a gross of 38 on the front nine and 47 on the back nine for a gross total of 85. With a handicap of 8, her net score was 77.
