Falcons beat Fielders in Big League opening

Allowing only Juan Maratita and James Sablan to hit single apiece and sending Anthony Tenorio the first base on a walk, Jones and the Falcons defenders kept the Fielders scoreless in the first two innings before they beat them with four runs in the third.

Second baseman John Pangelinan caught Maratita’s land drive and catcher John Wilson got Tenorio’s fly ball and the Falcons kept the Fielders run less in the third inning.

Joe Aldan walked before Jones moved him to the scoring spot with a single.

Anthony Aldan batted to the left field in the third inning and got the first base safe after a catching error by third baseman, Ionis Rasa.  Aldan and Jones slipped through and scored runs on an error at the right field and third base respectively, and the Falcons put up the lead.

Tomas Camacho bunted his way to the first base and with two outs in the third, Vick Cruz hit a run-scoring single to widen the gap.

Pangelinan walked and scored run on a pass ball in the fifth inning, then, Joe Aldan finished the Fielders off by firing a two-run single in the sixth inning.
