Fielders upset Ol’ Aces, to face Lions in senior league finals

The Kagman Lion Kings, the second placer in the regular season also prevailed by defeating the St. Michael Hunters and will meet the Fielders in the championship set for Saturday.

Fielders 7, Ol’ Aces 4

Patrick Tenorio secured the first base on an error by the short stop, stole the scoring position then, Kevin Villagomez drove him in with a single, and handed the Fielders the second run on an error at the third base in the top of the first inning.

Marvin Ngeskebei doubled and Alex Aldan, drove him in, while Camacho also scored run on the second error by the third base man to give the Fielders a four-run lead.

Lamarc Iguel knocked in a run-scoring single and Keoni Lizama fired a two-run double to help the Ol’ Aces tie the ball game in the bottom of the second inning.

Fielders’ reliever, Alonzo Ucholl Pedro Jr., had four strike outs to help the Fielders hold the Ol’ Aces scoreless in the rest of the game.

Meanwhile, Carl Camacho singled after the Fielders had one batter out then he scored run on a fielder’s choice to take the lead again.

Leo Mendiola Jr., walked, Ricardo Villagomez got the first base on a fielder’s choice before scoring run on an error at the third base to make the Fielders strong again.

Carl Camacho added an RBI single in the seventh inning, and the Fielders won.

Lions 5, Hunters 4

Down by one run in the bottom of the seventh inning, Authur Jebehn loaded the bases with walk then, Richard Dela Cruz swung for a double and sent two runners home to clinch the championship berth.

After two scoreless innings, Greg Iskawa knocked-in an RBI single to cut the Hunters lead in the bottom of the third.

The Hunters added one more run in the fifth, but the Lions trimmed down the lead again in the sixth inning.

Dominic Chargualaf walked and Ricardo Dela Cruz moved him to the second base with a single.

Chargualaf was tagged out at the third base but Iskawa made it to the first on a fielder’s choice.

With one strike to give, and Richard on deck, Jebehn loaded the bases with a walk, then, Richard’s double turned the game around.
