Finance clinches Budweiser women’s softball championship

Aguon who placed seventh in the regular season’s batting leaders also hit a single and stole her way to scoring position before Julie Guerrero’s fly ball landed in the glove of Jenny Teigita to end their batting turn.

Regular season’s batting leader Liz Lebria did not score a run but she made her way to scoring position in the first inning and drove in a run in the  fifth.

Pitching leader Bego Camacho who had an ERA of 2.66 in 71 innings as of March 20, struck out two and gave up nine hits.

Aguon and Pauline Tudela foiled DCCA base runners’ attempt to score with a double play in the second inning.

Lenice Kapileo who also made it to the regular season’s batting leaders stole her way to score the only run in the third inning, and Jolene Lieto rallied to score the winning run.
