Flores crafted 39 points in front nine and 41 points in back nine, grossing 80 points with a handicap of 15.
Meanwhile, Telepao landed with 65 net after making 39 points in both the front and back nine.
Telepao grossed 80 points with a handicap of 12.
Coming in for third place is Joe Wabol who got a net of 70 after shooting 44 in front nine and 47 in back nine. Wabol got a gross of 91 points and a 21-point handicap.
Wabol beat two of his colleagues who also got a 70 net score each – Tars Olopai and Dwain Stephens.
Based on the score sheet, Olopai landed fourth with a score of 43 and 38 in front and back nine, respectively. Olopai grossed 81 points with a handicap of 11 points.
On the other hand, Stephens scored 48 in front nine and 42 in back nine, grossing 90 points, but with a 20-point handicap.
RGA had to break the tie among the three of its players, by dividing in half their respective handicap points versus their front nine scores.
With the tie-breaker, Wabol ended up with 33.5 net, Olopai – 37.5 net, and Stephens – 38 net.
RGA players are now up to challenge Flores’ score in a bid to clinch the October Ace title.
Last Sunday’s matches at COP also saw Manny Mangarero receiving the Closest to the Pin title on Hole #3, and Ed Tenorio grabbing the Closest to the Pin special award on Hole #14.
The other RGA players who tallied on the scoreboard include Mangarero (71 net); Nick Sablan (71); Joe Demapan (71); Fasulu Tigilau (71); Tenorio (72); Jess I. Wabol (75); Jordan Kosam (76); Tom Tebuteb (77); and Tony Rogolifoi (77).
