Sixers now hold a 4-0 win lose-card, while Saints pocket a 1-4 win-lose ticket in the season.
Sixers came prepared for their match with the Chalan Kanoa cagers, forming a heavy offense and dynamic defense inside and the even outside the zone.
Loaded with shots, Sixers make an easy drive inside the open defense of Saints, thereby creating a significant score deficit against the CK players.
Joe Ada came up with 29 points for Sixers, fashioning his shots mostly under the basket with heavy opposition from Saints.
Ada was too strong for the Saints that they often end up committing fouls as they try to block, or steal the ball from Ada.
The power forward even proved very helpful in terms of rebound that Saints could not seem to the damage he was inflicting on the Chalan Kanoa side of the court.
Ernest Duenas was also instrumental for bringing Sixers to the winning end with his 23 shots.
Saints’ Zack Tudela and Luizi Reyes came up with 22 and 20 points, respectively in the entire game, but these shots were left wasted due to a breakdown in the team’s defense.
Sixers still have one game left in the league, and that will be with Sonics, while Saints have two more games remaining for the season.
Saints will have a match this afternoon with Rollers I at 5:30 p.m. at the Ada Gym.
