Forty Fives crush Under Takers, 92-63

Tony Luzama of the 45’s was able to basket 3 jump shots all in a row in the last 5 minutes of the first quarter of the game pushing past the Under Takers by 3 points at the bottom of the quarter 17-14.

Teammate Danny Bicera jumped into the winning band wagon in the second quarter of the game and in his strong offense tactics was able to breach past the Under Takers’ defense line to bank 6 points for the 45’s.

The 45’s held on to their 3 point lead throughout the second quarter. By half time the score was up at 34-31 with the 45’s holding on to the upper hand of the game.

Both teams entered the second half of the bout fiercely. Ed Cosino helped the Armatechs keep and widen their lead against the Under Takers by collaring 8 points in the quarter. Luzama helped him and contributed his six pence to strengthen their winning rally. Feliz Palacios did not miss out on the action and chipped in his 4 points.

By the end of the third quarter the 45’s were leading by 17 points, 65-48.
