Frank Ermitanio
On the first day, Ermitanio swung well, ending with a gross of 85. With a handicap of 15 he came up to a net of 70 to lead the pack. Roy Ada and Pat Cepeda were tied for second, sharing a net of 71. Ada shot a gross of 86 with a handicap of 15 while Cepeda shot a gross of 96 and had a handicap of 25.
On day two, Ermitanio continued to deliver as he ended with 85 gross with a handicap of 15 for a net of 70. With a net total of 140, he was named Amigos February Ace of the Month.
Ben Jones Jr. had a fair placement on day one, and gave it his all on day two as he scored a gross of 77 with a handicap of 13 for a net total of 64. Combined with his day one net of 77, he bagged second place with a total net of 141. Joe Torres also performed well on the second day of the tournament as he tallied a gross of 83 with a handicap of 16 to hold a net of 76. His total net was 142 which earned him third place.
