Over a hundred players are expected to play as 16 teams have confirmed to join the Masters Basketball Federation of Northern Mariana Island’s first Masters Basketball League that will be held in Gilbert C. Ada Gym on weekends, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Dance numbers, song performance and raffle draw of exciting prizes will grace the opening ceremony at 6 p.m., tomorrow at the Ada Gym.
Masters Federation board chairman Ray Lizama said that after the raffle draw of surprises, the first two teams who will play the Game 1 will also be raffled.
The players who registered for the Masters League in the last several weeks were pooled in teams according to their skill levels, age and heights.
Lizama is urging all players, coaches, performers, sponsors and guest speakers to be at the gym at 5:30 p.m.
The evening will be graced by wonderful performers of Pacific Flowers Dancers, Marianas High School Color Guards Drill Squads, Inatuas Dancers and Big Beats Band.
