Registration time is at 8:30 am at the courtside and the tournament will blast off at 9 am. Participants must bring their completed registration forms with the registration fee on the day of the tournament.
The entrance fee is at $20 per player and $15 for NMIVA members who are willing to come out and participate tomorrow.
The competition will be Co-Ed so the organizers are reminding the competitors to bring their own partners. The league format will be Pool Play and Double Elimination.
There will be a maximum of 25 teams participating and the pool play format will be in the morning; semi-Finals and Finals games to 15 and cap 21.
The pool play games to 11 and cap 15 followed by the Semi-Finals and Finals bracket.
The serve must rotate and men cannot jump serve. The net will be set at ladies height. Men cannot block, or hit from inside the 10-foot line, or leave the ground behind the 10-foot line but landing within the 10-foot line is okay.
The entry fee will get a participant a tourney t-shirt, at least 4 games in pool play, complimentary refreshments and great camaraderie. Any proceeds after tournament expenses goes to NMIVA’s youth development fund.
