Banjo Basila scored 19 points to boost the team, along with 15 from Dennis Vinas and 14 from Wowie Abuel. Jaime Wabinga poured in nine points, landing two layups and a free throw late in the fourth quarter.
Hanwa Hotel had a shaky start, falling behind 7-11 in the first quarter. They recovered, 28-19 by the second half and stormed for a 65-46 lead before the final buzzer.
Edwin Santos was the sole double-digit scorer for Blue Haus with 16 points. Brandon Talania and Sam Fernandez added eight apiece. Dexter Tenorio snuck two baskets – one in the second quarter and another in the fourth – for four points.
Basila hammered his first and last three-pointer in the second quarter. Dennis Morales, Julius Tabamo, and Conrad Espiritu offered late-game support, earning Hanwa Hotel a combined eight points.
