Training for the national development squad for team Palau, Gino Smau of team Ididers, scored 27 with his prolific perimeter shooting and his timely three point bombs that left their opponent at awe and forced and extra period.And with the score tied at the end of regulation, team Ididers outlasted and outscored team High Tide with 11 – 6 at overtime to finally win game two of their series.
On the other hand, the series between the number one team, Kabong, and team MEDA who are considered to be underdogs coming into the series have proved to be also exciting as the other series when they posted a close match on their first game. Michael Williams dropped 30 points for Team MEDA’s win while Una Rikrik threw for 20 markers for the Kabong’s loss. As a result, series is 1 – 0 in favor of team MEDA after they beat team Kabong, 80 – 79.
