Team Inter-Godfathers crushed the Paire Football Club 6-1, landing three goals in each half. Peter Loken hammered the first point in the eighth minute, followed by another goal from Masatoshi Otsuka. A quick kick by Matthew Holley in the 29th minute gave the Inter-Godfathers their third point, leaving no room for Paire to catch up.
Just when time was running out, Otsuka scored his second goal in the 53rd minute. A fierce offensive from Darin Keizer and Arkie Reusora finally secured the Inter-Godfathers’ victory.
The Paires scored their first and last goal in the 65th minute from William Dunn.
Meanwhile, the KFAS edged Matansa Football Club 5-2 in overtime. The KFAS’ one-point lead in the first half was nothing but a set back to Matansa, who answered back with two goals from Santa Kumur Tamang. Kim Sung In saved the KFAS with a head butt in the 79th minute, tying the game 2-2.
The extra 30 minutes decided the game as Lee Jun Woo, In, and Jeon Jeong Jin made three more goals.
Another game will take place tomorrow, 7 p.m., at the Oleai Track and Field.
