Prominent walkers included Representative Ray Tebuteb, Mr. Kazunori Yabuki, Comptroller of Hafadai Beach Hotel, and Hiroko Tenorio of MVA. As the event commenced, the walkers were welcomed by a double rainbow hovering over the skies. IT&E, the main sponsor, added the icing by conducting raffles for all the participants. Every walker that joined was given a raffle ticket to redeem a promotional item from the IT&E booth. Some of the promotional items that were given out were: Frisbees, beach towels, lanyards, key chains, water bottles, and coffee tumblers. The walk started at 7 in the morning and ended at 9 in the morning. Marianas Variety learned yesterday that the participants had a choice of walking towards Lali 4, the shallow part of the beach, the dock, or simply around the IT&E booth. IT&E wanted to promote a healthier lifestyle by sponsoring a walk to broadcast to the public that walking is one way to live a healthy life.
