Tamayo led the Jaypers in pounding Mythical Five in all four periods of the game.
He established the lead by scoring eight in the first quarter, he continued the surge firing 11 points towards the end of the first half, scored nine in the third quarters and sizzled with 10 points in the final quarter to secure the Jaypers’ 85-75 win.
White Capalad and Ramir Herrera also rampaged in the second quarter combining 12 points for the Jaypers. Capalad grabbed most rebounds and helped carry out the defense with three steals.
Noel Mateo and Rommel Dizon added six points each.
Leo Factor and Gilbert Miranda led Mythical Five’s scoring hands as they both scored 22 points.
San Roque 79, MIGS 63
Gil Gapor rampaged to score 26 points leading to San Roque’s 79-63 revenge against the MIGS.
He sizzled with eight points in the first quarter and teamed up with Michael Achas as they both poured in six points in the second quarter.
With Angelo Fernando picking up in the beginning of the second half, Michael Achas continued the surge in the third quarter.
Gapor led San Roque with nine points as he got help from Ryan Paras who chipped in five points in the final quarter.
Jovie Arsenal scored 20 points for the MIGS while Melbert Dela Rama sizzled with 10 including the two three-pointers in the final quarter.
