Tudela faced some tough competition, but he kept his cool throughout the two-day tournament.
On Day One, held Aug. 30, Tudela notched a gross score of 75. With a handicap of 13, his net score was 62, which put him in the lead.
Day Two seemed tougher for Tudela, but he stayed strong and completed the course with a gross of 83. His handicap netted him 70, and his combined net score totaled 132 — a point ahead of Sherlyn Jones and Chris Guerrero.
To break the tie, their scores at hole #17 were compared. Sherlyn Jones made a bogey (one over par), while Chris Guerrero bogeyed thrice. Sherlyn Jones finished second while Chris Guerrero ended in third place.
Players received individual closest to the pin awards.
Syl Ada was recognized for Hole #6; Ben Duenas, Hole #8; Ed Manglona for Hole #12; and Tony Satur, Hole #15. Each was awarded $160 with a free game certificate courtesy of Kingfisher Golf Links.
