Joel L. Punzalan, president of MISO, announced to team coaches that he has adjusted the schedule he has prepared.
“I have found some problems with our schedule and have made the needed changes to complete the Boys and Girls JV Season,” Punzalan said, adding they need to play two games off the original schedule.
It used to be that one game was being implemented at MHS Gym with only the boys’ basketball division playing.
Recently, MISO has launched girls’ basketball in the same venue where they get to play in the hardcourt at 4:30 p.m. sharp.
Based on the new schedule, boys’ basketball games between Saipan Southern High School (Manta Rays) and Marianas High School (Dolphins), Mount Carmel School (Knights) and SSHS are some of the games that will be affected.
SSHS and MHS will pit today at 6:30 p.m.
MCS and SSHS will see action on December 1, Monday.
There will be girls’ basketball match between Kagman High School Lady Ayuyus and SSHS Lady Rays on December 2, Tuesday.
Punzalan requests team coaches to review the new schedule and make the necessary changes for the remainder of the season.
JV basketball season opened on October 22 at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
