KAGMAN Elementary School and Brilliant Star School were among the teams that notched their first wins in the co-ed elementary division of the PSS-NMIVA Interscholastic Volleyball League SY24-25, which kicked off at the Oleai Sports Complex on Friday.
KAG 1 showcased their ability to perform under pressure by outlasting Garapan Elementary School 1, 21-18.
KAG 1 played well as they stuck to the fundamentals using proper formation and bump returns. GES 1 displayed strong teamwork and kept the momentum alive, with neither team able to hold onto the lead for long.
Toward the end, however, it came down to consistency, and KAG 1 proved superior, keeping the ball flying with precision returns and forcing GES 1 into errors to seal the deal, 21-18.
GES 1’s roster consists of Tristen Hocog, Samuel Ngiraked, Alexander Castro, Basil Faisao, Chance Reyes, Chanel Saimon, Khalei’ani Tudela, Hailey Mafnas, Summer George, and Ayana Olebuu.

Brilliant Star School dismantled Oleai Elementary School II, 21-0; Saipan Community School bested Grace Christian Academy School, 21-14; and Saipan International School 1 blanked Oleai Elementary School 1, 21-0.
