KANOA Football Club is on a two-game win streak in the U17 girls division of the TakeCare Youth Soccer League Spring 2025 season after trouncing Shirley’s Football Club, 8-2, at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville on Saturday.

The onslaught started early with KNFC’s Beatrice Gross drawing first blood at the 8th minute mark followed by a goal by Aubrey White two minutes later to grasp a 2-0 lead.

SFC accidently scored in their own goal at the 23rd minute mark, but they did deliver their first goal of the match a minute later thanks to Cassidee Flores.

KNFC, however, resumed its onslaught with Gross scoring her second goal at the 35th minute mark to giver her team a 4-1 lead at halftime.

The margin continued to grow in the second half as KNFC’s momentum could not be broken, adding four more goals with Gross completing a hat-trick at the 56th minute mark.

SFC made the best of a tough situation as Princess Gariguez scored in the 54th minute before falling to KNFC, 8-2.

Paire vs MP United

Joining the winner’s circle was Paire Football Club, which outplayed MP United Football Club, 2-0.

Stacy Arriola scored both of her team’s goals — first in the 29th minute of the first half and again in the 55th minute of the second half.
