It was a slow-paced game as defense predominated while momentum passed between both teams. After 15 minutes of action, Kanoa turned defense into offense and left MP in the dust as Sean Gil finished strong to give Kanoa a 1-0 lead.

Both teams continued to go head-to-head but neither scored until at the 52nd minute mark when Kanoa’s Markus Toves struck from a distance for a 2-0 Kanoa lead.

MP’s Andrew Chung connected his team’s first goal at the 60th minute mark but it wasn’t enough as Kanoa won 2-1.

The TanHoldings Football Club still holds second place after outscoring the Matansa Football Club, 4-1, for THFC’s third win of the season.
