KIANA “Baby K” Camacho and Evita Maratita, who always gave it their all throughout the 2024 season of the Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association League, were recognized for their efforts during an awards ceremony at the Dandan baseball field.
On Sunday, the Lady Blue Jays won the title for the third straight season. In the second and final game of the championship series, the Lady Blue Jays outlasted BDE, 7-5, with Camacho going 2-4 with an RBI single. For her consistency, she was named the 2024 Playoff MVP.
For her part, Lady SUFA’s Evita Maratita bagged the Regular Season MVP award and was named Batting Champ for going 19-26 with a .731 average. In addition, she, Kiana Aldan and Mayiah Duenas were named the RBI Champs with 12 RBIs each.
The season’s other individual awardees were Bat & Boujee’s Janica Iguel as the Runs Scored Champ with 16; 670 Magas Babes’ Catalina Dela Cruz as the Doubles Champ with 6; Lady Blue Jays’ Kiana Aldan as the Triples Champ with 3; and Lady Blue Jays’ Kianu Aldan as the Home Run Champ with 3.
On the pitcher’s mound, Lady Blue Jays’ Angel Deleon Guerrero won the Earned Run Average title with an ERA of 3.161 while Bat & Boujee’s Janice Celis was named the Strike Out Champ with 45.
