KQOD wild card round set for Saturday

Tournament coordinator Joey Dela Cruz said that only the second and third place teams that met the requirement of having played at least two games will meet in the single elimination round that will start at 10 a.m.

The teams are Kulan Zamu, Pac Chain and Banzai.

Falcons and 670 Sakau failed complete the number of players so they did not make it during the third leg losing their chance to play in this year’s single elimination round.

At least six sluggers’ team could have grabbed the opportunity to clinch a championship slot but since second and third placers are required to play a minimum of two games to qualify for the fourth round, their presence in the third leg was crucial.

The Advance Xterminators who continue to dominate the three rounds of the tournament clinched the first slot in the championship.
