Kudos to all for successful Masters Basketbal League

During the appreciation picnic that followed the All-Stars game last Sunday, MBFNMI board chairman Ray Lizama thanked every individual involved in the said league that he vowed to continue until the CNMI basketball community makes it mark on the World Masters Basketball family.

Players, coaches, managers, fans and family members who attended the appreciation picnic at the Minatchom Atdao applaud the top players and teams who were presented awards.

Most of the players, coaches and fans congratulated and thanked the Masters league organizer for giving the players 35-years-old and above the chance to continue a healthy life while enjoying their favorite sports.

The Masga brothers, in separate conversation with Variety said many older players on the island had not had the chance to hit the hard court for many years. Many of them, Diego and George said still play good but lacked the chance until the Masters league came.
