Legislature eliminates PO1 in Budweiser playoff

POI scored only two runs—Kyle Kaipat’s sacrifice fly and Vic Ada’s single hit in the fourth.

Maurice Omengkar struck out Legislature’s lead off batter, Bill Olaitiman but it became his first and last winning throw of the game.

Aside from Tarope and Cabrera’s homers, Legislature bombarded PO1 with six run-scoring hits in the nine-run fourth inning.

Perry Besong struck out Harlan Delos Reyes in the third inning after short stop, Mitch Aaron and center fielder, Bernard Cabrera prevented POI’s base runners from scoring despite the four sing hits in the first, second and third inning.

Pete Towai and Perry Besong drove-in Mitch Aaron and Dave Apatang to score two of the three runs in the second inning. Besong sent Dennis Cabrera home with his go-ahead single for their three-run advantage against POI.

BJ Attao sent Ben Camacho to scoring position with his single hit before Tarope drove both of them in with a triple hit in the third inning.

Attao doubled Ben Camacho in the fourth inning before Tarope send him home as well for his two RBIs.

Tarope had four RBIs including his two-run homer.

Legislature will be joining pennant champion, DCCA and Freedom Air in a bid to clinch the championship if they win another game scheduled today.
