(Press Release) — In light of the recent impact of Super Typhoon Sinlaku, the Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball League regrets to inform all players, teams, officials, and supporters that the games will be postponed until further notice.
“The safety and well-being of our community remain the top priority. The effects of the typhoon have caused significant disruptions, and this decision allows everyone the necessary time to recover, rebuild, and ensure that conditions are safe for all participants.
“We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates regarding a new schedule as soon as it is appropriate to resume league activities.
“Softball is built on teamwork and resilience — qualities our community continues to show in the face of adversity. The game can wait; our people come first,” said BASA Vice President McQueen Masaharu.
“We extend our sincere gratitude for your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this time. We encourage all teams to prioritize safety, support one another, and stay connected as a community. Your dedication to the sport is deeply valued, and we look forward to bringing everyone back together on the field when the time is right.”
