THE co-ed elementary school division of the PSS-NMIVA Interscholastic Volleyball League SY25-26 swung into action Friday, with several teams making definitive statements in their respective pools during opening week at the Oleai Sports Complex.
Kagman Elementary School was among the handful of teams that showed potential as they ended their debut unscathed.
KAG demonstrated a calm and steady approach in their third game against Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School II, combining disciplined defensive coverage with an aggressive serving game that left the latter struggling to find a rhythm, 25-6.
KAG’s first win came in a slightly tougher contest against Garapan Elementary School II, 25-13. Along with a forfeit victory over GTC I, it solidified their spot at the top of Pool D with a 3-0 record.
The day featured a marathon of matches across four courts, shifting the balance of power across four pools.
Leading Pool C are William S. Reyes Elementary School I and Grace Christian Academy with two wins each. WSR I bested Saipan International School, 21-3, and San Vicente Elementary School II, 25-7, while GCA triumphed over SVES II, 21-3, and Oleai Elementary School II, 25-10.
Pool B has Agape Christian School sitting at the top with a 2-0 record after defeating Koblerville Elementary School II, 25-20, and GES I, 25-14, followed by KOB II and SCS, which share 1-1 records.
In Pool A, WSR II and SVES I currently lead the pack with 1-0 records, while OES I trails closely behind at 1-1.
