Jose and Ruri Ayuyu Foundation supports UOG Charter Day 2k/5k Fun Run

TAMUNING, Guam (Press Release) — The Jose and Ruri Ayuyu Foundation proudly supported the University of Guam Charter Day 2k/5k Fun Run as a silver-level sponsor, “The Mighty Current,” contributing a $750 donation to the UOG Endowment Foundation.

“We are proud to partner with the UOG Endowment Foundation to support scholarships for our students and provide new equipment for our student athletes,” said Marcia Ayuyu, owner/operator of McDonald’s in Guam and Saipan.

Set for March 2, the UOG Charter Day 2k/5k Fun Run is a collaborative event organized by the University of Guam Student Government Association, UOG Triton Athletics, and the UOG Endowment Foundation to raise funds for scholarships and refurbish fitness and cardio equipment. This initiative aligns with the Jose and Ruri Ayuyu Foundation’s commitment to providing the community with resources needed for student success and overall health.

As a silver-level sponsor, “The Mighty Current,” the Jose and Ruri Ayuyu Foundation aims to encourage aspiring student leaders, promote sportsmanship, and inspire the next generation of students.

“We’re very grateful for the Jose and Ruri Ayuyu Foundation and McDonald’s of Guam for supporting our cause,” said Jennifer “Jenny” Naron, administrative support specialist for Triton Athletics. “We greatly appreciate everyone helping to provide students with a better university experience.”
