SOUTH Korea’s World Baseball Classic team began its winter training camp on Saturday at the Francisco “Tan Ko” Palacios Baseball Field ahead of the 2026 WBC. Among the Korean players was Hye-seong Kim of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who made his visit unforgettable by signing autographs for local baseball fans, young and old alike. The Korean visitors are utilizing the newly constructed four-mound pitcher’s bullpen, marking the start of the CNMI’s ability to host international teams for training purposes.
