Chris “Superman” Leon Guerrero closes out the 2025 season as one of the elite members of the Amigos Golf Club, clinching the final coveted spot for the prestigious Ace of Aces tournament by winning the December Ace of the Month event, held Sunday at the east course of Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
Leon Guerrero, known as “Superman” for his resilience, finished with a two-day net total of 136.
He started strong, setting the pace in the qualifying round by posting a gross 86 on the east course. With a handicap of 20, he gained leverage over the field. Despite tough conditions in the final round, he kept his momentum, shooting a gross 90 reduced to a net 70, finishing with a two-day net of 136 to claim the December Ace of the Month title and an entry into the Ace of Aces Tournament.
Frank Sablan finished four shots back with a two-day net score of 140.
While Leon Guerrero took the overall title, four players celebrated precision on par-3 holes, each earning $120 in optional play: Joe “Kamakaze” Camacho on hole #4, Ed Manglona on hole #6, Joe Sasamoto on hole #11, and Ricky Sablan on hole #15.
Leon Guerrero now joins the exclusive group of monthly Ace winners who will compete in the season-ending Amigos Ace of Aces Tournament. The rest of the field will compete in the Non-Ace tournament this weekend, Dec. 13–14, on both courses of Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
