(NMIBF) — The Northern Mariana Islands Basketball Federation is launching its search for coaches for the men’s and women’s national squads that will compete in the 2027 Pacific Games in Tahiti.
Coaches interested in leading the CNMI 3×3 national teams are asked to submit their coaching résumé to [email protected]/. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 28, and announcements of the selected coaches will follow shortly thereafter.
In anticipation of the 2027 Pacific Games, NMIBF is inviting coaches to lead the 3×3 national team program for 2026 and manage the team in Tahiti from July 24 to August 8. The competition will be held in an open division format, with four athletes per squad plus one team manager. Therefore, the selected head coach will also serve as the team manager.
NMIBF is seeking candidates with a strong background in 3×3 basketball, prior coaching experience, the ability to travel off-island, and the flexibility to lead training for their respective teams.
The selected head coaches will play a critical role in the success of NMIBF’s national program. NMIBF is confident in the commitment and ability of local coaches to take on this important challenge.
Information about athlete tryouts and other criteria for participation in the national programs will be released shortly after the selection of the 2026–2027 national coaches.
