SPICY Thai Tip C has been crowned the A-Division Bud Light Cup champions of the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League after edging out the Tom Yum Bull Breakers, 9-8, in a nail-biting finals match held at the Tom Yum Restaurant last Monday.
The night began with the Partners Crazy Cricket set, where Tip C’s Rico “Tha Sicko” Villagomez and Toshi “Short Fuse” Pangelinan teamed up to claim the first game. Bull Breakers’ Vincent “Sang” Agulto and Marsen Siten evened the score by winning the second game, creating the first deadlock of the night at 1-1.
Momentum shifted slightly in the Singles 501 set as Bull Breakers’ Vince “The Rocket” Cepeda and Agulto delivered clinical performances, securing back-to-back games. Tip C, however, showed its depth as Villagomez and Jose Bozu Villagomez dominated their singles matches, restoring parity at 3-3.
Both teams continued trading blows midway through the match, splitting the Partners Regular Cricket set, 1-1, as well as the following Partners 701 set, 1-1, keeping the contest tightly contested.
During the Singles Regular Cricket set, Tip C finally gained the edge. Jose “Kumoi” Deleon Guerrero, Rico Villagomez, and Bozu Villagomez excelled in one-on-one play, rolling off a 3-1 run. Bull Breakers countered with a 2-win sweep in the next Partners Half-It set, tying the match again at 8-8.
The final Team 1001 game proved decisive. Tip C’s chemistry shone as Bozu Villagomez, Rico Villagomez, Jeff Pangelinan, and Jose Deleon Guerrero combined efforts to outclass Bull Breakers’ Cepeda, Devon Pangelinan, Agulto, and Dan Repeki. Tip C secured the ninth and final win needed to claim the title, 9-8.
Spicy Thai Tip C’s roster includes Ben “Flow” Flores, Toshi “Short Fuse” Pangelinan, Jeff Pangelinan, Rico “Tha Sicko” Villagomez, Brandon “Big Bee” Babauta, Jose “Kumoi” Deleon Guerrero, and Jose Bozu Villagomez.
