Man Amigos homer beyond limit, pound San Roque, 15-6

Short stopper Peter Sablan fired a three-run home run and JJ Laniyo had a solo to set the lead in the top of the first inning.

The Man Amigos did not allow San Roque to close-in in the bottom of the first, then, extra hitter Joe Torres helped reach the home run limit in the top of the second.

Because San Roque had not homered yet, Julian Camacho’s home run weakened Man Amigos third inning that ended runless.

Dave Camacho Jr.  had two RBI single before he and Chad Atalig scored run on a fielder’s choice from Tony Luzama and Larry Robert’s sacrifice fly to help San Roque close the gap in the bottom of the third inning.

John Terlaje and Julian Camacho drove-in two runs with single apiece and the Man Amigos streaked again in the fourth, (12-5).

The Man Amigos had strong defense in three straight innings allowing San Roque to have only one run-scoring single in the seventh inning, but not after the Man Amigos added two more run-scoring base hits for their 15-6 win.

Advance Xterminators 17, Blazers 9

The Advance Xterminators struggled early in the game before Angel Reyes led off a solo home run in the top of the fourth. Sonny Sablan loaded the bases with a walk before Ben Cabrera drove-in three to tie the ball game.

The Xterminators’ fielders caught fly balls to defend their ground and kept the Blazers scoreless towards the final inning.

John Taitano rocketed a three-run home run and Poland Masaharu fired two-run home run and the Xterminators continued their winning streak to even the season with 7-7 win- loss record.

Go for Broke 14, Team Familia 4

Kelvin Sanchez hit an RBI single before Alfred Hocog fired a three-run home run to give Go for Broke a strong bottom of the first.

After a quick scoreless second, Go for Broke continued the surge in the third with Branon Hocog hitting a two-run shot followed by Jonathan Pangelinan’s RBI single and Carlos Sanchez’ RBI double.

With Yubert Alepuyo driving in a run on fielder’s choice, Team Familia scored three runs in the top of the fourth inning to cut the lead.

But Team Familia got farther behind as Branon hit another two-run home run following Billy Sanchez’ run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Vincent Pangelinan added an RBI single in the sixth to end Team Famila’s hope to come back.
