Maria Gibbons having to represent both Mindszenty High and the Palau Swimming Association dominated the results of the event. It took only 14:19 seconds for her to reach the reach the edge of the pool to grab the anew the title of being the fastest swimmer in the republic. Following her lead was Liam Bornovski and Osisang Chilton with a time of 15:09 and 15:72 seconds, respectively.
Since the there was not much participants on the swim meet, coach Tina Osima also decided to have time trials also for newly members of PSA and Team Palau Swim team in preparation for the upcoming swimming events that will be held in Guam. Tina categorized each individual by their age and skills in swimming. As a result, here are the top 6 from the trials held at the pool: Gibbons(14:19), Liam(15:09), Osisang(15:72), Antja(16:22), Uong(18:38), and Rimuu(17:28).
